Our Story

Two Decades of Craft.
One Studio. One Family.

Founded in Lebanon. Built on patience, precision, and a love for fabric that never really goes away.

Sahar Shakra

The Founder

The Hands Behind The Needle

Sahar began sewing as a teenager in Lebanon, learning the craft from the women around her – in a country where making your own clothes was not a hobby, it was a skill you inherited. She spent years refining her technique across garment types before opening her own studio.

Today, her studio specializes in custom-made garments across some of the most demanding categories in fashion: Zaffeh and Dabka performance wear, theatrical costumes, religious and ceremonial attire, and school and professional uniforms. Each one built from scratch. Each one fitted personally.

She does not work from templates. She works from your measurements, your occasion, and your story.

"A dress doesn't just cover a body. It carries a moment. I want every piece I make to be worthy of the moment it was made for."

— Sahar Shakra

Two Decades of Craftsmanship.
100% Women-Led.

At Sahar Shakra, we believe that every garment tells a story. With over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, our studio has evolved from a small tailoring space into a premier destination for custom-made clothing.

We are proud to be a 100% women-owned and operated business. Our team of master seamstresses and designers combines traditional Lebanese techniques with modern innovation. We don’t just sew; we engineer garments that provide confidence, whether it’s for a student’s first day of school, a performer’s grandest stage, or a sacred religious ceremony.
